Having tried before judges and juries a diverse range of civil disputes over his thirty plus year career, Paul is the firm’s senior trial counsel. A member of Community Associations Institute, he also directs the firm’s condominium and community association law practice.
Representative Experience
Commercial Disputes – Co-counseled high profile health-care arbitration defense over 16 days resulting in substantial reduction of liability for client; obtained verdict against foreign bank for trespass to safe deposit box owned by inmate in federal prison; six figure jury verdict against seller of commercial real property based on fraud and misrepresentation.
Construction – Successfully defended an engineering firm accused of professional negligence for providing inaccurate estimates to a municipality; represented an engineering firm which had performed construction inspection and contract administration services on a municipal project for the erection of a highway overpass; handled the defense of an internationally known architecture firm accused of preparing defective design plans for a facility housing thoroughbred jockeys and groomers; obtained a zero verdict in a multi-million dollar breach of contract claim brought against a large, international engineering firm.
