Jorge L. Cruz-Bustillo Having served in a variety of public sector positions in Tallahassee upon graduating from law school, Jorge was also lead regulatory counsel for one of the state’s largest communications carriers, presenting arguments before administrative panels, circuit and appellate courts, as well as Florida’s Supreme Court. He has handled numerous construction licensing and litigation matters and complex commercial disputes. A 1992 graduate of Stetson University College of Law, Jorge obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1989. A member of both the Southern and Northern District Courts of Florida, Jorge also currently serves as chairman of the Florida Elections Commission, appointed to that post by Governor Charlie Crist in 2007.
